High Quality Heated Jacket with Smart Controls
I’ve been very impressed with the ThermAdapt Heated Jacket! The build quality feels excellent and the jacket is clearly well made. The stitching, materials and small design details show that a lot of thought went into it. What stands out most is the heating function. It warms up quickly and distributes heat nicely which makes a big difference on cold days. The controls are simple and the heating levels are useful for different weather conditions. The companion app that controls the heating is also well designed. The user interface is clean and easy to understand which makes adjusting the heat settings very convenient. However, on my iPhone the app doesn’t seem to run in the background. I assume this might be due to Apple’s app policies rather than the jacket itself. Overall, it’s a stylish and functional jacket that combines comfort with smart heating technology. Whether you’re outdoors or indoors, it’s definitely worth considering.

Overall I like it but there's some issues
CLIFF NOTE VERSION: Comfortable Material, Looks great, customizable, the heating element is okay but not great so don't wear anything thick underneath or you wont feel the heat. also doesn't do great blocking out wind. Worth it to truly measure yourself to the sizing chart FULL VERSION: Whether this is worth it would be entirely dependent on how you want to use it. I plan on using it almost entirely as a under layer. I live in Upstate NY and inspect Ski hills and chair lifts. So I am outside for very long periods of time ( -20 F with a -67 F windchill on the mountain last week) The other reason is hunting, also using as a under layer with the added heat when I'm in the tree stand. I don't plan on using it as my outer layer often. The sweater is very good looking, and the material is comfortable inside and out. When wearing it you don't feel the heating element much since they are so thin. The fit is on the bigger size, which i had to exchange it since i ordered the same size as i usually do and i would rather it be tighter to keep the heating element against my skin. The customizable feature is nice, to take off or add as you please, and this is improved in the sleeves where previous versions were flawed that water could flow into the armpit. There still is a gap but its unavoidable and has overlap to try to stop the water. Still with the look, the pockets were designed with fashion not function. It is one large zipper on each side that can be opened from the top or the bottom. The top two pockets are kind of inconvenient. The top right is used for the battery pack. The bottom two pockets are opened from the bottom and I do not like that because it makes it more likely that items can fall out of your pocket especially when sitting down due to the angle of the pocket. There are also two small pockets on the inside right side of the vest. Onto the main event - The Heating element. Heating elements in the front and along the spine are almost unnoticeable. In the upper right pocket any portable power pack is useable with USB-C which is prefer over anything that requires some very specific plug and can never replace the battery... The app works decently but i wish i could get it to stay on for more than two hours. There are three heat settings (Low 36c /Med 45c /High 50c ) and this is where I have issues. I am using a 10K MAH battery. [The following numbers are according to the app] I put it on low and it reaches the 36 C without issue. Med it will get to 38 C but no higher. High it will still only get to 38 C. You can feel a heat difference between low and med but not med and high. I then used a 38K laptop charger that has a 220W 3 prong plug... and it made it to 42 C. I then used a wall charger with a male to female wire and plugged it directly it still only made it to 43 C. Once again difference in feel between low and med but nothing between med and high. I have a hard time believing this will ever hit 50 C. If it can't do with unlimited power from a 45W wall port than there is no power pack that will ever be able to provide enough power to get it to high. I got this for the Kickstarter price, which wasn't low but I think with the flaws isn't worth more than that. Overall I am happy with it. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it and have already used it plenty skiing, working or just because this is the first week its been above freezing since Christmas... I do really like this material and would like to see it integrated into other things.

Very versatile, comfortable every day and travel jacket
I love the flexibility with this jacket. Zip off hood and sleeves turns it into a vest. The removable sleep beanie in the hood is a great touch. Much more comfortable than traditional eye shades. This makes for a great travel jacket. Less bulky than the puffer jacket but can keep you pretty warm with the heating elements on high. Have not tried the app so I can't comment on that but using the button is simple enough.
