Best barrel purchase I've made! Needed something to help with constant temperature changes, and with the Cobrin Traditional Bore, the throat tones are rounder and smoother, with greater consistency across the instrument's entire range!

Polaris Adjustable Barrel

Your Polaris now replaces my Behn adustable. I play a pair of R-13's from 1986 and 1992. The sound with your barrel is very secure and on the dark side, which is what I like these days. It's more comparable to my Chadash 66mm, but that barrel certainly gives pitch problems in the throat when pulled out a bit. It's why I have come to appreciate adjustable ones. Beautifully made too!
