Nexus 4 Pro

Excellent quality and the front picture quality is amazing. Wish the CPL cover didn’t look like there is a rainbow effect due to me having a tinted windshield but that’s what I get lol. I had a Vantrue N4 dash cam for several years and nothing was wrong with it but wanted to upgrade cause obviously the N4pro is better quality and to be able to read the license plate when you zoom in!

Good so far

Well packaged and appears to be well manufactured. When positioning this on your windscreen just be wary that the 12v adapter that comes with it has a usb head which is moulded to a 90’ angle whereas the hardwire kit you probably will buy has a usb head which is completely straight. If you’ve got a right hand drive car the central mirror / sensor apparatus may get in the way when you come to put the hardwire cable in if you’ve positioned it using the stock cable. The impact sensor is also very sensitive and needs to be set much lower in settings. Picture is good. App is ok but not that intuitive. It’s quite a big unit with the cab camera on it. If I had my choice again I would go for something more lightweight and positioned higher up on my windscreen.

Good design, quality construction.

The product exceeded my expectations. Discrete, Easy to install and easy to use. I am very pleased with the performance. I would only suggest the Vantrue App for Android to be compatible with Android auto. It would be nice to be able to control the camera from the Vehicle screen. Highly recommended.
