Colby + Yamamoto - 5/4mm Hooded Chest Zip Fullsuit

Comfy and warm

Easy to get in and out and no leaks. A little tight in the back area where the flap of the hood overlaps the suit. I can feel the overlap in my back and it bothers me a little, not a huge deal just worth mentioning. The button for the hood is a little tricky to snap. My old suit I could do it with one hand, but I have to use two to snap the button in place. Again, not a dealbreaker, just minor grievances. Dries fast. Overall, great so far.

Was a little skeptical…

When I first tried it on, the suit felt great and tight in all the wrong areas at the same time. I felt like I was slightly in between sizes. Usually I wear an L or a M-l ( about 175/ 5’10), but decided to give it a shot. It fits a little tight under the arms but paddling was great and the rest of the flexibility throughout the suit was amazing. It’s not the warmest suit I’ve ever worn ( east coast USA) but I feel like it has a great balance of warmth and flexibility. I’d order it again. Def an upgrade from the NE that Rob’s team used to run.
