The mounting system that comes for attaching to a cage is very inefficient at noise reduction

The mounting system that comes with the wheel for attaching to a cage is very inefficient at noise reduction, as the spacer/bushings is too long and allows for weight to cause wobble and this transfers into the cage making quite the symphony at 3 am during the peak zooming hrs. I went to home depot and got some metal and nylon washers, cut the spacer in half and for the plastic base attachments I added some rubber furniture pads with self adhesive. This has reduced the noise very much, I can now sleep through my pets wheelies

My hedgehog has used this so much since i got it its one of her favorite things in her cage
