If you love to spin clean, smooth wool into gorgeous yarn, then these 2-pitch combs are the perfect set for you. They cleaned the barnyard debris out of a scoured Cormo lamb's first clip, leaving the best part of each comb load ready for the dye pot or even BAM's 3-row super fine combs for a more refined worsted yarn. I also plan to use them to comb a wool batt straight from the drum carder to remove any short pieces and remaining irregularities, dizzing it off and ready to spin. I appreciate the magnetic tine protectors and did buy the Tine Straightener since these combs are my new work-horse tools, which need to be kept in top condition.
