Kakimori brass nib is a winner

This nib is so good that I purchased it a second time after somehow misplacing ( or losing ) the first one. It is a great nib for achieving line variation while sketching with ink.

Learning curve required

These nibs require some investment in testing different inks. In both nibs, brass and steel, some inks will just flow out of them making it difficult to control. Some other inks stick to the nib and it is difficult to do anything with them. I've tried 28 inks so far and found that inks that are advertised as "lubricating" perform the best. From the Kakimori brand I only tried "PO" and it is one of those that don't flow too gracefully. Some might consider this as giving your writing character since some letters will be barely visible and some others very wet, but that's not my particular style. On the positive side, the capacity to draw/write for a long time without dipping (with lubricating inks) as well as the ability to easily fill in entire areas (with the sides of the nib) are qualities that are undeniably unique.
