HEAD SPEED PRO

Excellent racket. It definitely feels more “muted” than my previous 2021 360+ head speed pro which was “cripser” on contact. Saying that, the 2024 version is more powerful, feels like it has a larger sweetspot and the Auxetic 2.0 technology makes it more comfortable on my arm. I’m an aggressive baseliner and found the ball sailing long more often that i liked initially. I would recommend stringing slightly tighter than usual to help control the additional power this racket provides. I went from 50lbs to 55lbs and it felt perfect (Using technifibre razor soft 18 gauge 1.20). It takes more effort per stroke, but the ball is far easier to control, giving the feeling of not being able to miss which is a huge confidence booster. This racket is powerful, very stable on contact and has a solid swingweight rewarding you for committing to full strokes. Certainly worth demoing and it’s a great all rounder.
