Very good humidifier – smart features need improvement

The humidifier itself works very well. It raises the humidity effectively, is easy to clean, and the automatic filter-drying cycle is an excellent practical feature. It has also been reliable in daily use. My main disappointment is the smart functionality. The humidifier does not provide its own usable room-humidity measurement, so SwitchBot’s automatic humidity control requires a separate SwitchBot Meter or Hub 2. Without additional hardware, the smart functionality is more limited than I expected. Local control through Home Assistant works well using my own external humidity sensor, although the Filter Dry Setting is not fully exposed. Overall, I am very satisfied with the humidifier itself, but the smart integration leaves enough room for improvement that four stars feels appropriate.
