New Crop In-Shell Paper-Shell Pecans (Not Available in CA or AZ)

They were dry and would break up very easily, it was had to even get a half out of the shell, I am 74 and have cracked a lot of pecans in my time and this is one of the worst 25lb batch I have ever created, I ordered a 25lb in November and they were all most as bad

The pecans are so good. After shelling them, I roasted them and they are delicious. I have made a butter pecan granola, the best I have ever made! Just made some melt i.your mouth pecan cookies. So good. Love eating them by the handful too!

It had been many many years since I had a paper, Salpicon, my grandfather, and I used to sit down at his place in Oklahoma and crack paper shells in the summertime. These brought back some good memories and the flavor is unbelievable. These are the best pecans I’ve eaten in years.
