The DIY Music Module Accessories by BrickBling initially impress with very good build quality. The component feels high-quality and sturdy and integrates well both visually and technically into DIY or brick-based projects. The integrated mini speaker is particularly worth highlighting: considering its size, it delivers surprisingly clear and pleasant sound quality, which is more than sufficient for background sounds or short music sequences. The buttons are adequate and do their job reliably, but they feel rather average. While they respond well, they lack distinctive tactile feedback and do not stand out in quality as much as the speaker or the housing. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is the operation and programming of the module. Its functionality is not self-explanatory, and clear instructions for configuration are missing. As soon as the module is switched on via the remote control component, it automatically plays the music track in an endless loop. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out how to program the module so that the track plays only once when switched on and then stops. Despite several attempts, this behavior remained unchanged. Overall, the DIY Music Module by BrickBling is technically solid and convincing in terms of sound quality, but it leaves significant room for improvement when it comes to usability and documentation. For users who enjoy experimenting or already have prior experience, the module may still be interesting; however, for beginners, the lack of transparency in operation can be frustrating.
