Monica Abaya in Navy

Perfect PhD graduation dress!! So happy with how I felt and looked on the day. I was channeling classic princess of wales vibes, simple and elegant in navy and that’s exactly how I felt! A very practical abaya that I can see myself wearing as an everyday casual look also. But for grad it looked so nice with black satin pointy toe sling backs. The fabric on the abaya has a lovely sheen. Pairs well with a body slip to ensure no cling. I loved the waist tie, and felt very modest and no cling with it tied at the back. Overall love this!! It was my backup outfit but once I tried it on everyone said this was the one! Only thing that could be improved is a slightly higher neckline and add a back zip. That’s just because I like a certain hijab style and prefer all my abaya like that. Regardless great abaya, I’m so so happy I ordered it and look forward to wearing it often! X ps I’m 156cm/5”2 and purchased size 54. Was perfect with my flat shoes🙏🏼
