It sparks joy
A while ago there was a very popular tweet about drawing a cartoon frog, where one was cute, but the simple, beady eyed one "sparked joy". That's the perfect definition of these novelties. They are adorable and perfect for tea lovers.
Because the set does not have a space bar, I'm currently also pairing my matcha set with the Sakura novelties. In short, if you are getting the base matcha, I strongly recommend you pair it with the novelty set!
