Great Fun

Several hours of panning out the gold from black sand. Wife n Daughter think I’m nuts but it kept me amused and out of trouble. I added it back and took it to my 82yo father so he could have a go. He spent a wet afternoon doing the same.

ROI is accurate

A couple of bits were plus kitchen strainer, & ended up with about 5 or 6 pickers. The gem black sand was brutal to get through. Ended up doing about a third of a teaspoon, at a time, & swirling it back to extract the gold, so literally took a few hours. I don’t get to go out on the creek very often, so it definitely fulfilled the itch.

Fun concentrates to pan out

Concentrates as described and did indeed contain 1g of gold. The fine black sand contained very little magnetics as forewarned. Lots of fun to pan. Chunkier gold was easy to separate. Very difficult final cleanup of fine flour gold and black sand. Priced reasonably.
