If you care about the environment stop using thick plastic jugs which will take 200 years to decompose. We get our hand soap, dish soap, and laundry soap containers refilled at Fillgood. I have put an enormous amount of plastic in the trash in my life. Yes, often in recycling, of which a fraction is actually recycled. Now I have a choice! Nice people, good service.
