Clove Overload

Firstly, I can't compare this to the original as I don't have it. So, my review is of the PP version only, obviously. I was hoping to love this perfume. There are certain notes in this that remind me of something from yesteryear and I just can't put my finger on what it is. I will say that this is quite a beguiling fragrance with some complexity about it but for me, the clove element is SOOOOOO overpowering that it drowns out every other note. I'm not a fan of cloves, their smell plays havoc with my olfactory system, so I can't wear this perfume. Other than the 'clove note', the rest is perfect. So, if you are a fan of cloves, don't hesitate to buy this perfume.

This perfume is no joke. It lasts and projects. Very strong on me. Hazelnut vanilla and incense beautifully unisex!

i don't know the original but this is a masculine amber fragrance. nothing feminine but if you like strong perfume you wear it
