Close, but no cigar. At least it’s affordable.

It’s not a million miles off the original, it definitely reminds me of it. But in a side by side comparison this is missing a lot of notes that make Oud Ispahan so good. It’s not as smooth or deep. I could tell this apart from the real thing instantly in a blind test, without ever having smelled it before. It is however less than a tenth of the price, and it gets remarkably close. But overall it feels like you get something that is just fine, but not anywhere as good as the real thing. I think I’m done buying clones. The perfume parlour bottles are very good though.
