KastKing Kapstan SE Saltwater Spinning Reel

The best reel I've ever used, however I did receive a left handed reel when I ordered a right handed.

Bought this to tackle big catfish and gar down in Texas! Did not disappoint!

Great reel, just not for me.

I ordered this reel (Kapstan SE Saltwater Spinning 2500) to replace a Sharky 2000 which has served me well for years of surf fishing. It is a beautiful reel and worked flawlessly but it weighs a LOT more than the Sharky resulting in the weight of the reel being too much, and too far forward, on my medium light 9.5' surf rod. We easily cast a hundred times in a day's fishing and the weight is just too much for this older gentleman. :-) Having to return it was disappointing because I was enjoying the higher gear ratio than is offered on the Sharky. The return with postage paid was offered immediately when I contacted KastKing with my problem. As always, they offer excellent service.
