Townsend Paper Pattern

Beautiful bag

I'm not a skilled bag maker and found the pattern hard to follow. My bag did come together in the end but it's a bit wonky. It's very hard to get so many layers under the needle. I also ended up with extra pieces, lol. Which I'm sure was operator error but I thought I followed it step by step. So with this said, I wish the instructions would provide better details for us rookies when it deals with the more challenging areas.
