Versa Cotton Dress with Nursing Zippers in Vintage Blue Toile

Lovely dress, but still need a nursing cover and wish there was an option for normal waistline

It's a beautiful dress and the nursing access is easy and seems well made. I will definitely enjoy wearing this! I only gave it four stars for two reasons: 1) I can't see myself using it without a nursing cover. I'm not sure how some of the moms in the photos are so discreet but I'm still showing much more than I'd want to with this dress. Still, it works as well as other nursing dresses and it's certainly higher quality and the type of dress I'd wear to church or a wedding. 2) I also wish that the waistline was a little lower. It hits me so close under the bust that it makes me look larger than I am. Admittedly, my waist is larger than pre-pregnancy, but it's not nearly as large as what this dress allows for and I feel like the extra material in the gathers accentuate the slightly larger belly I do have rather than hiding it. I understand they're trying to make it pregnancy friendly as well (and I'm sure I'll enjoy wearing it while pregnant and will still appreciate the nursing access then as I typically tandem feed) but I wish there was an option to buy a nursing dress that wasn't suitable for pregnancy as well and that had more typical bust/waist proportions and a waistline at my natural waist. I think in trying to make it work for all purposes, they've made it less suitable for specific purposes. I'm also bigger in the bust while breastfeeding than while nursing, so while I had to get a large for breastfeeding, I'd probably do better with a medium while pregnant so again, I wish there were options for specifically pregnancy and non pregnancy. I will confess, other nursing dresses have this same issue too but I was hoping this one would be different. In the picture the waistline seems to hit the model a little lower down so I'm not sure why that is.
