Avoid this company. Emailed them for advice as item doesnt activate on my dog. Ignored! Requested a return of item and still nothing!

Have telephoned and left a message but my call has not been returned. My dog is small and so I have to take the collar down to its very limit, this means there is a significant amount of webbing hanging. My question is IF I CUT THIS (which must to be done) IS THE WARRANTY/RETURN IF INEFFECTIVE STILL ACTIVE?????
