Sauer 404/505 adapter for Spartan Javelin

Works well with the 505 and fitting of gun sling, a little disappointed in the fact that it swivels, therefore when you have a scope mounted it is top heavy and wants to flop to one side or the other. As the Spartan bipod also swivels you must always have one hand supporting the rifle, makes reloading a magazine awkward as you need two hands to load the bullets. Is there any way of locking it ?
