The Perfect Pen

Such a great bolt action pen. Not too chunky, yet not slim. The bolt action is smooth and zero wobble in the pen tip. The frosted polycarbonate look is better than I had anticipated. I purchased the polycarbonate to retrofit it for use with an eink tablet and the result is a perfect, bolt action emr pen! Love it!

I really liked Mod Musings’ design philosophy. However, the actual product quality is not as good as it appeared in the photos. It may partly be due to the limitations of the polycarbonate material itself, but there are some noticeable issues. The black rubber ring around the center connector screw seems to be too tight, and I can see tiny cracks forming in the transparent PC body around that area. In addition, the metal cap on the tip of the pen appears to be assembled slightly crooked. It feels like the overall level of finish and quality control may have dropped because of the large number of recent orders. The durability and manufacturing precision do not meet my expectations. I considered requesting an exchange, but the international round-trip shipping cost is too expensive for me to justify, so I will probably just keep using it as it is. I was planning to order several dozen pens as company gifts, but now I think I need to reconsider it. In

Jeff kills it again

Yet another banger from the team at Inventery; I actually was able to handle this one early because I was visiting the shop and had been impatiently waiting for the official release to grab one. With Jeff opening the door for custom builds with the Polycarbonate parts, I'll be ordering more for sure
