The color was quite different in person. Hardly gold in any light other than very warm. Should probably be called “metallic black”. The leather did feel a bit lower quality than other Frye items I’ve had-and the paint on the boot is quite flakey. The return process is very convenient, thankfully.

A little toght through the neck…will be stretching. The color is gorgeous, have gotten several compliments!
