You have to cut holes in the fabric.
This shelf requires that you cut holes in the fabric to install, which immediately starts to fray. This needs to be a set height that you create "dressed/stitched" holes that are not going to continue to rip and fray. When you cut holes in the fabric once, nobody will be changing the position so we might as well order it with holes. The shelf height should be required and come pre-determined. I had to try and level the shelf during install and then literally cut holes in the fabric. This works but needs a function redesign.
