just because it says xtreme and universal doesn't mean it'll fit. had to order the ones made for the xtreme boards (still haven't come in after almost 2 weeks), these are a hybrid for combining different boards i think.

Why So Tall?

The Mounting Pin Set says it's "17mm". I believe they're measuring the length of the M 10 thread (also available in "40mm"). But the entire pin is 120mm from it's base (fully 150mm from whatever you mount the Flat Rack Mount on). Two Maxtrax Xtreme boards require 45mm plus the retention Knuckle. The supplied retention Knuckles are 45mm + 30mm and you have to use both, even if you only mount two boards. Two boards would only require 75mm instead of 120mm. The issue is that I mount all this on a RhinoRack tray on which I also have cross bars for boats & SUPBs. the provided pins stick up above the crossbars hindering placement of anything on the bars even though the boards, themselves, are well below the crossbars. That's the long story. The short story is PLEASE OFFER A TWO BOARD PIN FOR MOUNTING TWO BOARDS rather than just the super tall two/four board pins. BTW, LOVE the Maxtrax Xtreme boards.
