I had an Aluminum TRD skid plate...Dented it 4 wheeling..Got this one as it is steel..It's a 2 piece design..Bolts for the rear to cross member is just washers and long bolts...Not all that sturdy..This is priced for your weekend warrior...Not for any serious 4 wheeling our rock crawling...Will work for me as my serious wheeling days are behind me..Worth the money yes...If you abuse your rig look at other more expensive options
