Got them for my son to use on a climb of Mount Adams (WA - 12,276’) and they were perfect! Sturdy but light and packed small enough to stow for the glissade down! Highly recommend and wont be my last order!

Perfect poles
First pair of poles I’ve owned. I bought for a Dolomites 6 day hiking trip. They were simple to put together, collapsed to a size that was easy to fit in backpack, and light weight. Great to have the rubber covers on bottoms of poles for times when we walked on a road. Also comes with baskets for use in snow in winter.
Meanwhile my friend bought other poles that did not collapse to a small size like these and wasn’t able to fit in her carry-on backpack so had to carry separately in the pole bag. Needless to say I was the happier traveler.
Highly recommend.

Great for cost
I recently ordered my partner a pair of the carbon fiber poles and myself a pair of the aluminum. I had an older pair of the carbon poles and there is a design flaw I think should be addressed. The button that keeps the poles locked in place puts all of the user's weight onto a single small point. With my previous carbon poles, this caused splintering where the button pushed down in it's hole. This is why I ordered aluminum, this time. My partner doesn't use hers heavily, so I felt comfortable getting her the carbon poles, but I am 235lbs so I know the carbon would eventually fail for me, again. All that being said, The price is very good for these poles and the warranty/customer service is top notch. They will replace the broken part when it fails. I would like to see them reinforce the locking mechanism somehow, but the value for cost is still above most everything out there if you want z poles.
