Ok, not great. Lots of rattle if you strum hard

I got this guitalele because I've seen reviews in which it said that it was one of best on the market and for the larger nut and scale. Visually it's rather pretty from a distance, but up close there are a lot of flaws. Mine has a lot of yellow spots for some reason or glue that wasn't removed. Frets are also scratchy, but at least they won't cut your hand. My biggest problem with it is that it has a lot of rattle inside if you strum hard. Might be from the fishman element, but that just means it isn't set up properly. It really is rather annoying, almost overpowers the song sometimes. I can't imagine plugging it in and having it even louder. I expected it to be checked before shipping since i believe it says so on the store page and i ordered in the EU so i had to pay a lot of taxes when it arrived. For the price honestly it wasn't worth it, i expected more. And now I can't really return it either.

A truly marvelous instrument!

I can't say enough great things about this guitalele. It more than met my expectations. The construction is first rate, the setup done by Guitar Smith was on point. I love how well this guitalele resonates, every note true and responsive. I especially love the larger body and longer scale length. It just feels right. A perfect size for travel and playing all the songs I enjoy playing from the guitar. I highly recommend giving this instrument a serious look. Shannon was very responsive to all my questions and a pleasure to watch on all her video demonstrations, an excellent arrist totally.
