SSP 2.0 Combat Robot Kit

Serious Bot! Novice Friendly.

I admit, I was a bit nervous thinking about putting this bot together. I’m not an engineer and haven’t really tinkered with electronics, motors, etc, before. And I had never soldered before. After following some online videos covering the basics of soldering and then practicing a tad I jumped in to put my brushless SSP kit together. Seth’s written instructions are excellent and the videos are extremely helpful. The two together make putting the bot together very doable, even for a novice like myself. I haven’t competed with the bot yet but it feels and drives like a very solid, capable and quick control bot. Very well designed and its modularity allows for some quick and easy changes. I strongly recommend it to any fans sitting on the fence fantasizing about learning about and participating in combat robotics. Win or lose I can’t wait to battle!
