The realism is wild!
I've been wanting to try this one for quite some time and I'm so glad I did. This is one of my favorite houses to begin with because their fragrances are so unique and some, like Fat Electrician, are so photorealistic. At first, I used just one spray of Jasmin Et Cigarette to get an initial impression. I did not get any of the ashtray smell most people describe, it was all jasmine. Then I went in with several spays to the wrist, and that's when the magic happened. The ashtray smell was most definitely there, but it isn't the offensive, chemical smell of an actual ashtray. To me it's more like smelling a pile of ash from a freshly burned tobacco leaf that wasn't treated with chemicals. The realism of the cigarette is wild! It reminds me of what I would imagine a dark speakeasy from the 1920's would smell like. A woman dressed in a short, glittery dress, feathers in her hair and a cigarette in one of those long holders. I love it!

Tobacco ≠ cigarette
Granted, my review comes from a strange perspective in taste, this was a little off putting to me. I wish I noticed the hay note when looking for a cigarette fragrance. I was looking for photorealistic cigarette smoke, and was intrigued when people said it smelled like an ashtray: but I don’t get that at all. The grassiness was not suitable for my taste. Not stinky enough.
