My grandson loves his shirt! He is a tall, slender 8-year-old and the youth xl is a good fit. The quality is great! I loved it so much I bought one for his little brother (he's a BIG 2-year-old and wears a 4T. The size youth small fits him perfect. I bought an adult small for his 14-year-old sister. The sizing guide was not too helpful. I guessed a youth medium would fit a slender 8 year old, but it is more for size 4-6.
