The reel is very well made, and it will sure take the battle to some really big size fish. This reel will stand up to Saltwater conditions and will handle freshwater with ease. I highly recommend it.

Battle Reels

Very smooth. I use my Penn reels on my kayak. Being light, good balance and strength of components helps battling fish when leverage is needed. So far line twist has been kept to a minimum. Good purchase.
