There are so many beard butters out now that range from really good to really bad and I've experienced a large number. With anything like this subjectivity is definitely a matter at hand but for me personally, it is my favorite beard butter that you can get. It's easy to use, has a very fair price, tons of scents to explore, and most importantly it works wonders. Between those four mentioned facts paired with the great customer service at True North, you owe it to yourself to check out a product or two at the very least. It may end up being your go-to company as they've become for me. For this butter scent in particular, Beach Vibes, it quite a simple scent of creamy coconut and lemongrass. It's a wonderful scent in my opinion and it is one that is not very heavy or potent though it does stick around a great while. I use it daily before I go to bed normally and sometimes when I'm going to put beard oil on in the morning I will use the unscented or any unscented of your choice and you still get a light but present smell of the Beach Vibes butter under the beard oil. That being said, if you want to use another scent then that works just perfectly as well. Once your beard is damp and combed the other scent from your oil will take over anything left behind from the night of Beach Vibes. You really are free to do as you please. Anyway, yes, this is my favorite on the market and recently I've began to use True North exclusively. I figured, why not? Great people, great service, great products. Amazing company. 10 out of 10 North Crew!

A Summertime Winner!

This is EXACTLY the kind of coconut scent I was looking for! The coconut is strong but creamy and the hint of lemongrass balances the sweetness just right. If you ordered in the hot weather like I did, you'll obviously need to toss it in the freezer when it arrives to solidify it. Something to note, with many companies freezing the butter makes it gritty. This is NOT the case with True North! It was just as smooth out of the freezer as any normal jar. It melts down quickly and has a fantastic feel in beard that keeps my beard soft all day. Scent duration is LONG and perfect for summer! Highly recommend
