I have commented previously--this was second purchase for my son (a Julliiard graduate) who shares love of Mahler with me. We listened together and were entirely mesmerized - stunned--by the power and details of this HDTT. We heard details in this piece we both know so well that we never heard before. One of the most stunning recordings ever and in every way.

Superb

This alternative recording Mahler's third symphony, arising from the same sessions that are present on the original Unicorn recording, which I already liked very much in its original issue, has afforded me new insights and pleasure. The HiRes transfer sounds absolutely superb.

Sonic spectacular!

I had the Unicon LP Mahler 3rd. By comparison, this is a superior transfer in terms of getting into the music.
