D'Addario XL-Series Nickel Wound 45-130 5-String Bass Guitar Strings, Long Scale [EXL170-5]

When I realised I had never changed the strings on my Ibanez K5 bass, I counted that it had been at least 14 years since I’d owned the bass, so no surprise to find that it was strung with D’Addario Strings! It was a no brainer to replace like for like, and I went with the Nickel sounds to test out, over the Stainless Steel, and they did not disappoint! The attack and feel of the bass is back to, what I forgot it used to be! I’d highly recommend these strings! And not to play sides, but I don’t think I’d buy another set of competitor bass strings over the comfortable feel and sound of D’Addarios! I’m a convert!
