RIVAL Aluminum Engine Skid Plate 2021-2026 Ford Maverick EcoBoost Hybrid FWD AWD XL XLT Lariat Lobo except Tremor

Hi, Instructions were not the best and fit not perfect but I do like it. As to fit, On the Hybrid, it leaves a gap of an inch or so plus in front of the plate the whole front of the plate. Also it slightly concerned me that there is not a opening in the plate for cooling as on the original covering and on the skid plate that comes on the FX4 Skid plate. However I do love it that the Oil drain and oil filters can be accessed without removing the skid plate. The plate was a bit challanging to install as the installer has to use a nut attached to a wire and feed it to the correct holes in order to attach the bolts to the front of the plate. It was difficult to discern which 2 holes were meant to be used as there were 4 different holes to choose from. I got it wrong twice and finally had to measure to insure I got the correct hole on each side. It was a challange for me but I finally succeded. The plates seems very strong but since only 4 bolts held the large plate on I felt that a couple more bolts added would make it a more secure set up. But it's definitely better off now than how it came from the factory. Thanks Rival!

I had the ford dealer change my oil and install the new skid plate. Worked out perfectly.
