Farewell to his bachelor stuff. Welcome Quality Woods!

This is my third purchase in as many years from QW. The pieces include a sofa table with drawers, an extra long coat rack with shelves, and this 33 inch round table. All are in cherry (his preferred wood). All replace what I call "bachelor stuff" (battered pieces of dicey quality). I tried my best to find these pieces "in person" (retail and resale) with zero luck and resorted to the internet. The sofa table was my first QW purchase. It was a "fingers crossed" experimental purchase...(will I get my money's worth)? Short answer: Yes! It was followed by the coat rack (how lovely to have something so mundane be so beautiful) and this year, the table. Ever try to find a 33" round table in solid cherry? At least this time, I knew to start with QW after a fruitless in-person search. Other than their excellent value, I like that the QW catalog is so extensive. I did not have to compromise: I got my extra-long coat rack and extra-small table. Delivery was flawless, which is not easy where I live. I may buy more from QW. If I do, I will try to avoid delivery during mud season :-)
