Marksman Z Fly Rod

Great Rod

I bought 8 and 9 wt rods for bonefishing and permit. Both rods perform outstanding. I now fish exclusively with Hardy rods and own 9 of them from 5 wt to 10 wt. Very good construction and the marksman have improved cork. Highly recommended. I fish for bonefish 60 days and year and habe for over 50 years and this is my rod of choice.

Best fly rod out there....by far

Been fishing Hardy fly rods for over 15 years. The Marksman Z is just another example of Hardy continuing to make great rods even better. Loads with ease and delivers the fly extremely accurately. Simply the best tools for my trade!

I have a few Zane Pros in other weights that are just excellent but the Marksman 11 is amazing! I have used it recently in the Everglades in windy conditions and it powered through with ease and jumped a couple Tarpon. It will put the line out there but still enough finesse for those short quick shots. I have put my old 11wt in the closet .
