Bringnox Motorized Outdoor Shades 5% Openness

I purchased the Bringnox outdoor motorized shades (95%, with matter, in black) for our screened porch. The boxes arrived after a one day trip from China to North Carolina in almost perfect condition, one box had a gouge in the cardboard but it did not reach the actual product. The mounting clips were easy to install into the window header. The 80” long shades were a bit heavy to attach by one person but were manageable. I found the Remote very easy to connect and it worked perfectly. I found it more difficult to install the Matter motors into HomeKit but fortunately the support service via email was extremely helpful. The agent (Ivy) was very patient and professionally helped me through the process. It turned out to be my confusion of the pairing procedure. I did not realize that there are two distinctly different pairing functions. The first is for Remote pairing (one jog) and a second for Matter pairing (two jogs). Once I understood that simple difference, the pairing went very easy and they installed into HomeKit perfectly, alongside my almost 40 other Matter devices. I use Controller for HomeKit and was able to quickly create an automation that would close the shades based on solar position for time and date using a graphical interface that is very intuitive. I also added a condition to not activate the shades if the cloud cover is greater than 50%. The automation worked on the first try. I strongly recommend Controller for HomeKit. I also strongly recommend Bringnox and their support (Ivy) that was outstanding.

Bringnox Roller Shades are the perfect choice. I am a DIY guy and these shades are a fantastic product. It was very easy to order and installation was quick. I had to use customer service for a few question on one of the motors, but Mr. Ivy, in customer service, was was fantastic! Got me back o track in no time. What a wonderful experience shopping for my shade needs. I will be using Bringnox shades again in the near future!!! Thank you!!!
