Love this system

I purchased the APEC tankless system, and its the most substantial upgrade I've made to my apartment and my quality of life in a decade. I appreciate the certifications and third party testing because the quality of my water isn't negotiable. The install was straightforward, the system is beautifully built, and the water iI get from it is incredible. All that's to say, I'm extremely satisfied, and offer my highest endorsement of this product and company.

Is tankless better?

After having my previous apec water system for almost 3 years, I decided to upgrade due to a leak in my old system. While the tankless system takes up less room which is nice, please consider that this system needs electrical power. The new system also seems to be extremely sensitive to its functions, and troubleshooting can be repudiative. I also literally had to let my water run a full 30 minutes to set the filter to correct function. That is a lot of wasted water. I also think comparatively the water coming from the tankless system does not taste as good as my older apec system. While the benefits of space saving are there I was much happier with my previous set up.

Love that it takes up less space than the tankless. We had a plumber install it to be safe. Makes a humming noise when you use it but it's faint and doesn't bother us at all.
