Bravo Stool | Step Ladder | Mahogany & Teak - Deep Shades

based in NYC and spent months looking for a folding step stool that didn’t look like a step stool. I searched everywhere, but I kept coming back to the Larkwood stool. What ultimately sold me is how incredibly functional it is. Obviously it’s great for reaching high shelves, but it’s also comfortable enough to use as an extra seat when needed. In a city apartment where every piece has to earn its place, I love that it serves multiple purposes while still folding away easily. The craftsmanship is beautiful in person. It’s sturdy, well-built, and the folding mechanism feels solid and smooth. The handle makes it easy to move around, and unlike most utility stools, this is something that’s pretty enough to leave out on display. I’m so happy with it. After months of searching, I genuinely couldn’t find anything comparable. Thank you, Larkwood! And as a bonus, the shipping and delivery to the U.S. were surprisingly quick and very reasonably priced.

Stool feels solid and well made and the paint finish is immaculate and a beautiful shade and sheen. The steps themselves are a more compact design which takes a little bit more balancing in actual use as you climb, because you can't easily fit both feet on the second top step. It also makes a useful little side table!

Beautifully made and very sturdy. The Bravo fits perfectly in our “chef’s nook”. Very comfy as a stool, it’s often the place to sit at in the kitchen when one of us is having a quick snack. Love the stool. As a step ladder it takes a little getting use to as the last rung is smallish. That being said it is my favourite purchase of 2025. Very happy with it.
