Sweet sweater-terrible sizing

Although the sweater is very sweet it’s not sized properly. Customer service is not helpful & they charge for return shipping. The larger size was not available & thus I don’t want to exchange. The size 12-24 mo will fit my 10 mo old grandchild for barely 6 mo. I was expecting a sweater she could grow into. Disappointing purchase due to sizing issue.
