Great trail insurance

Nothing is worse than cutting a ride short because of a downed tree(that you can’t hop over). This is great and packable insurance so that you can carry on with your ride. Great quality and a lifetime warranty makes it an easy buy. Is it as efficient as a chainsaw? No, but it’s a lot cheaper and more packable than a whole chainsaw setup, not to mention the upkeep. Takes care of overhang very well that maybe a chainsaw is overkill for. I store it on my backpack and hardly notice it’s there. I run a voile strap through a slit on my backpack and around the saw to secure it. It would be nice if it had a slit in the handle to accommodate a strap but it does have a hole at the base so you can secure it with a lanyard. All in all great product to carry after storms or in the early season when you’re likely to encounter downed trees.

Very Capable and Impressive Saw

As with most made in Japan items the quality and function are top notch. I use this for minor trail maintenance at a local park to clear out spots to go fishing. Handy to keep in the truck and have with you for sure. It cuts very fast and clean, really impressed overall and glad I stopped wasting money on small hand pruning saws from the store.
