Sizing for the Robert shoe

I am a size USA 11 D standard width. I had to go up a half size to an 11.5 since the 11D was hurting my outer toes on one shoe and squeezing the sides of my feet. The first pair locked my heels down nicely but the length needed to be longer. I have a low volume foot with a low arch. I now realize my other size 11 medium Carmina Oxford are the same issue. I will now get 11.5 medium in all UK sizes. I can do a medium weight sock with with this shoe. I enjoy not feeling some pain now with the 11.5 regular fitting
