Fulling Mill - Tungsten Drop Beads

Not a good shape

The tungsten drop bead is not spherical so it makes tying a bit difficult as it rotates on the hook shaft and when you finish tying on a small hook (#20) there isn’t a lot of space between the bead and the hook point.

New to me

I’ve tried these for the first time and they seem to be a little heavy for the size of hook but they seem to be working, the only trouble I’ve had so far is after catching a few fish my fly bunched up at the bend of the hook! This could have been me but when I use the pin for a balanced leach that never happen yet!
