HALO Standard Series 3" LED Pod Lights with DRL 48W Twin Light Pair Kit

I'm on the fence about these lights. They work well and have a unique look compared to others on the market. However, you are paying a premium price for them, and it raises the question of whether they are truly that much better beyond their appearance. I probably would have given them four stars, except for one issue. I have these lights sitting in my vehicle underneath the rear truck seat. I have them on brackets that allow me to remove them when they're not being used and that's where I store them.They had been sitting there unused when I pulled one out the other day to make an adjustment. At that point, I noticed some of the paint rubbing off on the silver trim on the outside of it. You might say it is just paint and has nothing to do with how the lights actually function. But here is the thing: these are among the most expensive lights on the market right now. When you pay a premium, you do not expect the paint or finish to rub off.

Bought these for ditch lights for my truck as I live out in the country and wildlife is always hard to see. These light up the ditch areas very well and they are super bright. I liked them so much that I bought the 6in for fog lights. Great product!!
