ANIMATION - Base Locomotion

Exactly what I needed

Works great with my synty models. The samples had some texture incompatibility with the latest Unity versions, everything turned out purple, but the animations were perfect and came with great docs

The source files are sadly unuseable

I really like the aesthetic of the Synty models, which is why I bought the Prototype and the Base Locomotion packs. Here is the mistake I made: Im not using Unity or Unreal (where both packs work perfectly fine), so I thought I'll just use the source files themselves. Synty states that they make no guarantees for that, so that was a calculated risk (which is why I give 3 stars) But what I found disappointing is that the provided models and animations don't even fit together. - The bones are not the same (animations have a root bone, the models do not) - The bones have completely different names between the pack even though they use the same rig - The models start in TPose, the Animations do not - All models and animations are in fbx and not in glb (and for some reason blender cannot import their fbx files correctly) All this makes it practically unusable for anything other than Unity and Unreal (again as they clearly stated), but I'm disappointed that the issues stated above are even there, as I don't think they should even be present. Anyways, to those you use unity or Unreal: Go for it To anyone else: The source files won't help you

Very Good

Very well put together, I am using it in Unreal without any issues. Only thing that drags it down from 5 stars is that there is a shoulder bone in the demo character that shows up weird in blender, thus when fixing the it will not work with the animations correctly.
