The Cuesta fan truss plate is a 5-spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The Cuesta fan truss plate has 4" wide curved spokes along the tie beam and 3" wide curved spokes on the king post and struts. Struts radiate out at 45° angles.
