Beautiful machine! Works flawlessly

We spent hours on youtube watching different videos because we wanted to upgrade our Breville Barista Express. We'd been planning to get the Lelit Bianca V3 which has double boilers, it's $1000 more than the Ascaso and takes 15-20 minutes to heat up before you can use it. Then we found the Youtube channel called Daddy Got Coffee. He explained how the Ascaso works and why it heats up so fast. We were sold on the quality of it, and the ease of use. Plus, it's beautiful and relatively quiet. We got a Turin Df64 grinder and a Knodos Tamping Station off Amazon - altogether it's a massive upgrade from the Breville and it lets us do everything manually, but one we've dialed in what we like it's so easy and quicker to make a latte than the Breville since we can steam while brewing. It's so easy to keep clean as well. It's actually smaller than the Breville so it looks better in the coffee area. My only complaints are, it would be awesome if the LED lighting could be adjusted to be more yellow or brighter/dimmer, and if the metal grate over the water drainage area didn't have those bumps that make it easy to grab, maybe having a finger hole would be better - that's because getting a scale under it means we have to take the grate out everytime we're dialing in new beans. Overall this machine is beautiful and it seems like it's going to last a lifetime.
